I realize that earlier in the week I used the phrase "otter excrement", and have noticed a marked upswing in the number of varied uses of the word "excrement" since. While this is a HUGE improvement on other terms for fecal matter I thought I should share with you all some terms from the middle ages that reflect the interest that people at that time had with the excrement of animals.

Crotels - Hare droppings
Friants - Boar
Spraints - Otter
Werderobe - Badger
Waggying - Fox
Fumets - Deer

All of the above = TCU

Nice... good stuff.

I myself used excrement twice in one post recently without even having read yours, or any other posts using the word "excrement".... thanks for putting it in the PF ether!

Werderobe!

Not to be confused with Hair droppings although both types are prevalent in men my age.
