I didn't realize Pitt's defense was that good. PB is now going to look like a genius. It will be interesting how he does with good players (with all due respect to our guys).

PB has a tall order upkeeping that top 5 defense, no doubt. Maintain Phil, maintain! That said, I can't wait to see "all out" audible blitzes in all their glory enacted by competent personnel.

As long as you accept maintenance as a general downward trend then sure...
I think in 2006 there were a couple of categories that were near Cavan-levels but if I were to plot defense under Bennett's watch on a chart, the trend would be down.
