Ted Gangi is reporting on MustangManiacs.com that spring practice will commence on February 28 instead of the previously announced March 3.




The June Jones era begins on the field for the Mustangs earlier than previously announced. Jones' team will begin spring workouts on Thursday, Feb. 28.

Spring ball concludes on Monday, March 31, two days after the Red-Blue Scrimmage on Sat., March 29.

The Mustangs practice schedule is as follows, with times to be announced. Practices are open to the public as well as recruits.

Thu., Feb. 28: Practice 1
Fri., Feb. 29: Practice 2 and Coaches Clinic
Sat., March 1: Practice 3

Sun., March 2: Practice 4
Mon., March 3: Practice 5
Tue., March 4: Practice 6
Thu., March 6: Practice 7 (Scrimmage)

Fri., March 7-Sun., March 16: Spring Break

Mon., March 17: Practice 8
Tue., March 18: Practice 9

Wow. If that is correct, I might actually get to come to the game. As long as it is afternoon and not morning. I wonder when we'll get confirmation.

The Athletic Department said the Spring Game was April 5. I need confirmation. I already have my plane ticket for the 5th. This appears to me to read like Bennet's previous schedule.

Practice starts 3/3 and the Spring Game is 4/5. Ted just has the old schedule that was set prior to Coach Jones' arrival No need to fret mrydel!
