Baylor athletic director Tom Stanton announced Tuesday that he will relinquish his duties and leave the office immediately.

I heard he was really taking heat from all sides: university administration, alumni, athletic department personnel, fans -- it was somewhat overwhelming, I gather.
He's hired some terrible football coaches down there, but I always heard he was a good man. Good luck to him.
