Not to Quote, FYI:
And SMU just announced... that they would receive the Presidential Library. After two years of negotiations, President Bush finally agreed not to call the University: "Smew."

Oh no, it is so funny it hurts! The pain is such that I might die! To think that my end will not come in battle with my sword in hand, but from bad American late night comedy!

A joke obviously written by a UNT grad.

Aw come on, it wasn't that good. I was thinking either a SHSU or TxSt grad.

Perhaps SWTSU. SHSU grads learn very early on that dying is easy but that comedy is hard.

This is an example of how far we have fallen. In the past we would say this about a TCU, Tech or UH grad. Now we jump at the opportunity to throw a barb at NTSU....truly sad.

I was thinking Aggie writer myself. After their long vacation (strike), I guess they just haven't gotten settled down yet. Hopefully, they'll go find a few sheep and be back in good form.

It is? The only time we'll get mentioned nationally is in punchlines, and that's a good thing?

That's not a political comment. Doesn't matter if you like Dubbya's policies or hate his policies. Rest assured, there isn't going to be a lot of commentary on national talk shows (either humor shows or actual political shows) lauding the academic impact of this thing. It's going to be one of those go-to topics that late-night comics can call on when they're short of material.
