I saw online that I could get basically 50 yd line seats on the student side for $25 bucks in section 18. Whats the catch? The section next to it is $50 bucks a pop. Does the band sit in 18 or what? Just wondering the reason front row seats there are only $25 before I buy them. Some insight would help, thanks.

It'll be kinda fun to be the only one in that section cheering when SMU keeps scoring...

I think the main difference is that the $50 seats are stadium seats with backs, and the $25 section is just aluminum bleachers.

I could be wrong, since the stadium is in the final stages of a major renovation and I haven't seen it yet.

That's a clickable seating diagram, but the photos are all before the renovations, so it will look somewhat different.

No catch...I got season tickets in Sec. 18 for $150.00. Why anyone would pay $150 more for the section next to it is beyond me.

Tech ticket prices have always been a great value...they just now started really cranking up the prices for premium games.

You won't be the only Mustang in Sec. 18...DiamondM will be there to blow out your eardrums.

Thanks for the seating update. Don't have my tickets yet, but I have my flight already, so I'm going to be there. Good to know I can get a decent seat.

justafriend,i too have season tickets(section 18)if you are able to purchase them i say go ahead,we have a good time(section 18)you may be standing alot through out the game,and i can promise you,the Tech fans in this section are rowdy.

The tickets I am looking at say Level T row 1, is that actually the front row, or a row 1 of a higher level? And i dont mind a little rowdiness...

Not sure about that "Level T"...

If it's really the first row, it's hard to see the game from there. Often the players will stand on the benches.

I have 2 tickets to the Tech game if any of you are interested. I'd love to be at the game this weekend to see Tech's new stadium - but I'm headed to VEGAS instead!
