Be excited, just don't have expectations of winning.

Last season, SMU was 1-11. SMU has 8 bowl teams on its schedule.

If the posts in the other threat are true, we will be going into the fall season with a QB that has zero Division IA game experience.

Actually Zach Rhoads threw 15 passes last season (8 complete with one pick). Doesn't that make you feel better?

No. Are there any jucos left lurking around? Makes the Craft miss look huge. we are really going to roll Rhoades or Bo Levi out there on Aug 29? Ugh. Rice by 10.

SMU has 1 win against D1A programs in Football in 2007-IF you include NTSU. Zero Conference Wins.
SMU really has 3 victories against legitimate D1A BB programs: UCF, TCU and Rice.
SMU is going to finish in cellar in both FB and BB quite an accomplishment in the CUSA West
Our QB position is the "Bermuda Triangle" of College Football.
How's that?

Dunno. I thought we established there was a chance he wouldn't be able to transfer anyway because he would need a waiver he was unlikely to get from the NCAA. Besides, he wasn't really that good anyway.

Naw, don't be. Beginning of a new era in SMU football. Ain't gonna happen overnight, of course. But it ought to be fun.

I think ponyboy's right. The off-season steps taken can only be seen as being in the right direction.

The correct wording is "We did not want him anyway."
