Stallion Proves It Again

He's no fan of SMU. He's a well-informed, mostly pessimistic, interested observer of SMU athletics on a mission to disabuse all SMU fans of any hope whatsoever. Amazingly, he'd rather SMU burn to the ground than admit he's wrong about anything.

Say what you want about Stallion, but my understanding is he hasn't missed a home game in decades. That says more to me than anything else. I admittedly wince when he starts a post with "YOU ARE AN IDIOT," but I think it's safe to say he IS an SMU fan, who doesn't necessarily talk the talk, but sure does walk the walk.

He also happened to get at least one of his degrees from Texas Tech...his Law Degree I believe. I'm not sure if he got his undergraduate degree at SMU or not....I think he did, but I'm not totally sure of that. I'm sure he will be happy to tell his story again...sometime.

Stallion is a big fan of SMU, he is just realistic. If you have realistic expectations, you don't get frustrated and leave the board by mid-season .

Seriously though, he wants SMU to win as much as anyone else. But when people make moronic comments, such as inferring that Tech would want to be in C-USA or saying they have underachieved even though they have a winning record in the Big 12, he steps in and tells them so.

I can appreciate Stallions point of view, if not his style. But, in this case, he is coming off more like a closet Tech fan, instead of his normal constructive arguments about SMUs policies.

As the target of the IDIOT post - I really have no problem with Stallion - and really appreciate his recruiting posts especially. He is usually right, except in the case of Tech where his apparent Sandaggie history has gotten the best of him. If you are buzzing around message boards with really thin skin, you in the wrong place anyway.

No he doesn't JUST keep it real. That's part of what he does. He also insults folks who disagree with him and makes a daily [deleted] of himself.
