There's no REASON why Baylor cannot compete other than their own incompetence.
10 years ago you would have said the same thing about VaTech and Kansas State...and KSU will likely win or be close to a National Title game THIS year.
Kstate has won more games in the last 8 years then the previous 88 years (Or something very close to this).
In their first 100 years they went like ONE bowl game, and the past 10 years they've been to 9 bowl games.

K St is the model for rebuilding by going after JUCO's. Snyder understands what it takes to build a team with no history, no fans and no academics to sell. Go after the guys who can't get in real schools, hide them from the press and do daily battles with the local police. That said, he is a great coach who can evaluate talent. I hope the best of him rubbed off on Bennett.
