I believe that would be in Lubbock at the stadium. I don't think it's on TV.

After the game go to Turkey Texas and watch a drive-in movie. Near Floyd Ada.

The newer alums grew up in the WAC, they didn't learn about our venerable road trip traditions. New Braunfels the night before the UT away game, tailgating at A$M and Baylor, six guys taking turns driving to Lubbock (bring along a teetotaler) for that one, and the long drive to either Little Rock or Fayetteville to watch the calling of the Hogs. In other words, get a designated driver (if you don't have one hire a limo for the day) and old car that already smells of vomit, one case of beer per non-driver, and head to Lubbock.

Just wait to open the beer until you get to Lubbock, a few of the older alums may have forgotten that there was a new open container law put on the books a few years ago.
Does anyone know if the game will be on TV in the West Texas area...like San Angelo for instance?

I checked my ESPN gameplan schedule on my DirecTV menu, and it does not have us listed on the schedule for this weekend. If a Red Raider fan can respond and let us know if the game is being broadcasted locally in Lubbock, I can look up the cordinates for that station on the internet. Then all we have to do is find a bar locally that has an old-school huge satellite dish and they can zero in on the station (I did this last year to watch some of our b-ball games).
GO 'Stangs!

The TT bball games were televised locally here on Channel 52. I think that is Channel 25 on Dallas Cable.

No, not on TV in Lubbock. Come on out! Would love to have ya. BTW, is the SMU band coming? I always like to see opposing teams bands come to town. As an Ex Goin' Band member, I really enjoy the all the 1/2 time show's, especially when there are 2 bands. Good Luck!

1. Channel 52 broadcast only the basketball games, not the football games. Only way Tech games will be on tv in Dallas (or elsewhere) is if they are picked up as a national game or one of the Big 12 regional football games which I think last year was on Channel 7. Anyway, SMU game is not on tv ANYWHERE.
2. The Mustang Band WILL be in Lubbock. They're small, but to paraphrase the TCU band director when a couple of Mustang bandsmen masquerading as interested TCU band students ask -- they play louder person for person than any band I know.
