A little Extra

Postby Da-Link-Went » Sat Mar 22, 2008 6:14 pm

I was just at the Dedman center sitting in the lounge area after my weak attempt at a workout, watching some of the basketball tourney. When out of the corner of my eye three guys caught my attention playing a game of basketball themselves. Not sure who they were, but two of them had to be on the football team. One chissled black guy with another solid big white guy (Possibly freshman Tennison?). They both seemed to be getting a little extra and getting some cardio in. If it was Tennison, he seemed to be very agile for his size, and I was quite amazed at his basketball talent. It was good to see the guys out and about, putting in their time even on the weekends. Keep up the work fellas. Alright back to the madness!

Of all the big white guy's on the team, why would you "guess" it was Tennison?

I thought that is who he resembled. Maybe it wasn't. Maybe you missed the point of my simple post about doing a little extra. Maybe my post was intended to praise the fact that the kids are out doing a little extra, as opposed to sitting on the coach eating potato chips and enjoying march madness. Maybe like im doing. Maybe?

Yeah, I didn't really understand the point... Football players are still athletes and might possibly enjoy other sports

I think he was saying that it was nice to see them doing something athletic rather than being couch potatoes. I could be wrong, though.

The word is that Tennison showed marked improvement in the out-of-season program. He is, by all accounts, very athletic for his size.

Weak, but literary.

Historical Point: The Earl of Cardigan was in charge of that particular military blunder.
