good to see that TCU is incorporating the ugliness of the campus at large into the ugly mess that is Amon Carter Stadium.

I just wish they could have incorporated SUPER-Frog into the design.

Did everyone see the pics posted on another thread of Saturday's spring practice? My first thought upon seeing them was how beautiful a setting it was...the greenest of green grass, the beautiful architecture of Meadows as a backdrop.
Contrast that to...vomit? Ugly is a euphemism for what's going on over there at TCU.

That will do. Some of us alums prefer to live here and enjoy the city minus the cream of botulism campus, thank you.

Typical Fort Worthless inferiority complex.

The best thing tcu could have done is tear down that relic (obviously) BUT since they have decided to "work with it" the first order of business should have been to remove (de-construct) that hideous, dysfunctional upper deck - construct a new, more formidable inside/outside club level, suites and a new press box. However, they have chosen to nickel & dime the heck out of that old place - and it will look like the patchwork quilt that it is.... anybody over there got a clue?

Typical Dallas artificial superiority complex.

Incorrect, Sir. Dallas surrounds SMU, thus it is inherently superior.
I will admit FW does have a much nicer downtown.

the best I can say about the new structure is that it hides the unsightly juxtaposition of that other eyesore Daniel Meyer which always seemed poorly planned. Bergermeister is correct -the entire athletic complex is aesthetically dysfunctional and only seems to get worse.
