Toby Cecil, Daniel Loper and Casey Keck have a combined 76 career starts in the offensive line. A lot of people expect Ramirez to be starting soon. That would make Whitley the utility man, backing up everybody.

Robert Anae, the OL Coach, is a fan favorite and has definitely put together a solid group. Most of them weren't highly recruited, but he looks for guys that are tall, rangy, with good feet and may be a bit on the lean side. They he redshirts them, bulks them up and eases them into the rotation. They substitute a lot and most of the guys have played multiple positions at one time or another.

If they've had a weakness it's been getting that 1 yard on 4th and goal or 3rd and 1, but that's more a function of the scheme I think than the OL's ability. That's also one of the reasons Tech fans are excited about the big juco back, Havili. At 245 lbs, he gives us a more powerful back to get that yard.
