Kelly critical of Oklahoma after disappointing performance
Associated Press

NORMAN, Okla. -- Wide receiver Malcolm Kelly lashed out at Oklahoma on Wednesday after a disappointing performance in a 40-yard dash in front of NFL scouts.

"This is my life. You know what I'm saying? This ain't no school. This ain't no classroom. This ain't got nothing to do with that. This has to do with me; my family. This is what I do. I play football. And I'm supposed to come out here and run as fast as I can."

Kelly, who left Oklahoma after his junior season, blamed his slow time of 4.68 seconds on an unexpected change in surfaces at his pro day.

"This is my life. You know what I'm saying? This ain't no school. This ain't no classroom. This ain't got nothing to do with that," Kelly said. "This has to do with me; my family. This is what I do. I play football. And I'm supposed to come out here and run as fast as I can."

Sounds like he got a great education at OU based on his speaking ability

Can't say that I blame him for throwing that sewer pit of a school under the bus. If getting a college degree meant that I had to go to the University of Oklahoma, then give me a pointy hat and a headset so that I can take your order. That place is hell on Earth.

The guy sounds like he has a serious gripe. The training staff sounds incompetent and he was emoting because it has probably hurt his draft status (talking about his muscle tear that they said was just a bruise).

Isn't this guy projected to be in the top 10-15 picks -- IN THE FIRST ROUND?

Yeah, Moss doesn't run a 4.68 on a bad day.
