SMU-Rice Kickoff Time Set
Game To Kick At 7 P.M.

DALLAS (SMU) - The June Jones era and the 2008 football season will kick
off at 7 p.m. on Friday, August 29, with an ESPN-televised Conference
USA showdown at Rice. The game will be the first of five
nationally-televised games for SMU in 2008.

In addition to the ESPN game, the SMU football team will have four games
broadcast on CBS College Sports Network this fall. SMU games against
TCU, Tulane, UCF and Navy will all be broadcast nationwide on the cable
network.

Excitement continues to grow surrounding the upcoming Mustang football
season. Season ticket sales are ahead of last year and the best seats

love the ford stadium night games, love to see all our home games be at night

Pity it is not at home. I would love to see more night games at Ford.

I really want to see the season ticket sales go through the roof, and hopefully sell some on the east side of the stadium.
