All of these All-Star Games have selection methods which cross all divisional classes in Texas High School Football. These games never have been All-BlueChip Teams but rather a cross-section of top High School players MANY will never play again-especially from the 3A, 2A and 1A kids.

Schools such as TAMU , UT, Tech, etc will no longer let their recruits even play in the game (unless they are punters or kickers). The game has minute attendance and kids really get nothing from it. This game needs to disappear. Even the THSCA game is getting to be a joke, but will continue with the association support.

A&M has 7 in THSCA and UT has 2 Most of UTs recruits enrolled in January or will in June-seriously just about all of them.
