Bennett said that Tech is not a must-win but he obviously wants to win. He said he wants to hit stride by conference time and that the passing game might be the biggest surprise of the year. The DL might be the biggest question mark.

Norm could have asked Coach Bennett a little more about the team instead of Baylor?? I thought the Kenny Cooper interview was very interesting. There may be more to the story, but can you really blame him taking the Man U offer. Regardless, his story is very impressive.

Heard that the staff was pretty upset at the timing of Cooper's decision.

That's an understatement. There were a few HS all-America-caliber players willing to come to SMU on partial scholarships, but the scholarship already had been given to Cooper.
