Worst part of this clip: Brent Musberger was on the air when ED broke the NFL's all-time single-season rushing record.
Best part of this clip: Ronnie Lott trying to tackle Dickerson. Never had a chance.

It would be pretty cool to have Eric and Craig, as the speakers for the Kick Off Luncheon!

If they were involved and influential in Jones coming to SMU, why not?

Nah. Let's stick with tradition and have maybe Frank Broyles or Darrell Royal, much like we did with Razorback Pat Summerall last year.

That wasn't Brent Musberger. That was the late Bob Starr, who was a very well-known broadcaster in Los Angeles. Starr did the Rams and the California Angels games.
But it was fun watching those clips. Man, I had forgotten ED was 6-3, 220. Whoa!

Really? Sure sounds like Musberger. Clip is much better knowing it's not him - thanks. George S. Patton wrote:But it was fun watching those clips. Man, I had forgotten ED was 6-3, 220.
I bet he's still 6-3. Not sure about his tonnage.

You kiddin' me? Musberger makes my skin IMMEDIATELY crawl. Nothing here suggested Mustcrapper.
Sorry to go all caps, there, I'm not angry at all. Just dying laughing.

Lott stopped lifting weights early in his pro career so he could spend every waking second putting money aside for Reggie Bush and OJ Mayo.

Yep. It is Bob Starr. His sidekick was Jack Youngblood. Great memories. We had Rams season tickets in the early 80s. The clips bring back some great memories and thoughts of what might have been if ED had not commited careeer suicide by forcing the trade to the Colts. The Rams built the O-line around him and barring injury, he might have become the NFL's all time leading rusher.
