At Hawaii, Jones spread the ball fairly evenly between 4-5 WRs each year.

Who will SMU's top 4-5 WRs be this year? Sanders, Givens... ??

If it is Givens we need a QB that can throw to El Paso don't we?

Guess I didn't realize how thin we were there. Guess June wasn't kidding when he said some of the incoming freshmen would see some time on the field.

I think Sanders and Robinson will be up there, but to be honest, with all the position changes, and the fact that we will likely see true freshmen receivers out there, I think it's anyone's guess at this point. Since we're just guessing I'll go with

Sanders
Robinson
Henderson
Dewery
Lee

Hudnal had the speed coming out of HP, but he didn't get much of a look last season. With the new staff though, who knows?

What about Burley...kid was highly recruited out of high school. Has been slowed by injuries. Hopefully he can produce some this year.

Would not be surprised if Loftin or Beasley see action in the slot.

1. Sanders
2. Robinson
3. Haynes
4. Zimmerman
5. Loftin/ Beasley

Hudnall's been gone since like early/mid spring semester yall...JJ didn't let him keep his scholarship for spring semester so he dropped out SMU and went off his own way.

I'll chime in here and say watch young WR Cole Loftin from Aledo HS. (true freshman) The kid is going to be special.

Just my two cents.

After watching that kid for two years at Aledo, I said that the moment he committed.

In coming freshmen:

BJ Lee and EJ Drewery will both probably start, but both Cole's (Loftin and Beasley) have a chance at slot.s
This is a highly recruited recieving core so expect some changes from Spring.

I'd be surprised if any freshman WR starts. Several might play, but everything I hear is that Coach Jones and Coach Reinebold are ecstatic about the futures of Emmanuel Sanders and Aldrick Robinson, and have been very encouraged by what they've seen of Zach Zimmerman and Bradley Haynes, too. The most surprising name I keep hearing is Josh Bryant. Rumor has it the coaches think he can really contribute this year, too.
