ok so this video of NCAA Football 09 was posted on the EA website. toward the end (not sure where but fast forward to about 2/3 thru and watch from there), there is a scene of TCU and SMU playing...

...SMU has the blue helmet, although lighter, and triple stripes on their pants. could this be their new uniform, or is EA just making this up for now? either way take a look!

The Giants have gray pants and the stripes on them are reversed in color, but they are somewhat similar.

Blue helmets on the road/white helmets at home?

I do believe Hawaii had different home/road helmets at some point. IF we're going to keep the blue helmets, the lighter blue is the way to go.

Actually, Hawaii just had different helmets. They had the dark green helmet and the silver helmet. The wore various uniform schemes, from all black at home with dark green helmet, to all black at home with silver helmet, to black tops with silver pants and silver helmet. Road uni lately was white top, silver pants, and sometimes the dark green helmet, other times the silver. There was no rhyme or reason to it... basically whatever the team... (JJ?) felt at the time.

if you watch the video closely, you will notice some mustangs with white cleats and others with black cleats....

you can also adjust sock length. can anyone see what's on the front of the jerseys? it'd be cool if those were the road unis and SMU had the white helmet/blue jerseys for home. and yea, they do look like the Giants.

SMU hasn't had DBs that looked like the ones in that video game in years.

That's obviously a TCU home game at Amon Carter Stadium. Look at that godforsaken purple crowd. And Ford Stadium doesn't have an 'upper level'...yet.

i hope those aren't the unis. they need to ditch the navy helmets.

Helmets are expensive, and only last a couple of years or so. Maybe we
had to replace them recently, and have to use them next year.
