Laura at the Tech ticket office says

Postby Hoop Fan » Thu Aug 28, 2003 6:52 pm

they have plenty of tix of all types left for Saturday, including their $50 ticket. This surprised me. I guess they don't sell out between the 30s on season tickets. My guess is that there will be alot of empty seats, Labor Day always has people doing different things. Walks ups would definitely be available she thought. She wasn't that friendly when I said visitor section, I guess they have their game faces on in the ticket office in Lubbock!

You also have to remember that Texas Tech alum, students, and employees are trash. Most of them are not only rude, but they are stupid as well. Go Ponies!!!!

Take it easy JohnBoy, there are good people everywhere. I couldn't get into Rice, but that doesn't make me stupid...I don't think. Gettin into UT is not all that easy these days either my friend. How many high schoolers are there in Texas and only 10,000 can enter UT at a time? Think about it.

Did you just refer to yourself in the 3rd person?
The attitude dictates that you don't care whether she comes, stays, lays, or prays. I mean whatever happens, your toes are still tappin'. Now when you got that, then you have the attitude.

Eddie P. thinks that Johnny Rock did indeed refer to himself in the third person. Isn't that so obnoxious?? The Eddie P thinks that's such an arrogant thing to do.

Per Lubbock paper this morning...40K advance sales with 20K season tix and 12K student tix. Should be able to walk right up and buy tix. Crowd expected between 42-45K

I have two tickets for sale for the Tech Game in the Smu section.

I will be sitting on the same row as these seats.

Call me soon if interested....I can deliver the tickets in Dallas or I can leave them as will call at Tech Stadium.
