If (when) ESPN College GameDay comes to the SMU campus, where do you think the producers should set up Fowler, Herbstreit and Corso? And do you think Craig James should be on the set instead of Herbstreit?

No. I've inserted the word 'If' in the original post now. This is a 'hypothetical' question/poll.

They can share my seat in the stadium if JTstang can not make it.

I choose Doak Walker Plaza. Looks badass on TV and plus if they were to set up close to the stadium, than people would already be at the stadium and thus inclined to go to the game. My 2nd choice would be in front of DHall with the blvd in the background. Sweet shot right there.

I vote for it being in front of the on campus bar.

Oh, right...that's never going to happen either....

Bobby Collins instead of Herbstreit.

The 'on campus bar' is The Boulevard. It's only open once a week (gameday), though.

Interesting. The choice with the most votes - so far - is 'In front of Dallas Hall (flagpole area), looking south down The Boulevard'.

There are no distinguishable SMU landmarks in this choice like Dallas Hall or Doak Walker Plaza or Ford Stadium.

Is this the most popular choice (so far) because it highlights the school's 'tailgate experience' or some other reason(s)?

It seems like most of the time on College Gameday that all the people in the background are drunk students. That being said, the best place to do it might be at the very end of the Boulevard(where the u-turn is) facing Dallas Hall. Not only would Dallas Hall look awesome, but there would be the most drunk students(myself included) going wild behind the Gameday crew.

So you voted for #3 on the list, I assume? ;)

I just hope I live long enough for Gameday to make an appearance at SMU. I'm 25 so I think I have a pretty good shot.
