knock off #15 Maryland tonight, sorry, hard to stayed glued to the riveting "wac bros" La Tech v. Miami game....I had to wonder...when was the last time SMU beat a ranked team? I think it was '86 v. Baylor, who was #13 or 15...is that right? Yea, I know Stallion, that was over 17 years ago...enlighten me..Long Live Brad Peveto.

what was enlightenly about this game was that this is the mid-american conference knocking off the acc & all their summer glory!!!!!!!!

in fact - i think we're going to have quite a few games like this - this yr!!!!

kick the bcs-bs in the teeeeeeeeeeth!!!!!

I think A&M was top 10 when we tied them at the Alamodome. Not a win, but its no frickin newsflash that we haven't had success since the DP.

I think A&M was #4 or so when we tied them. And, yeah, it wasn't a win, but it was still named Sports Illustrated's upset of the year in college football in 1994.

We should have beaten A&M that day. The tie was robbery.

And, as a Maryland fan, last night was painful. Keep me away from high bridges. That was embarrassing.

In 1995, our lone win was over Arkansas. While they weren't ranked during that week in September, the Hogs did win the SEC West that year.
