“Often times all through the year guys call me. I mean from the Al Harris, Champ Baileys, DeAngelo Halls, and they like, man we wanna come down and work with you and learn. Guys I can’t take all you guys separate man, I’m forty.â€

Who said all that? He sounds like he missed a few classes in college and/or high school.

Deion. I'm sure he missed more than a few classes.

Thanks Alex, besides the typical "turn the thread into a negative",
I see it as some nice PR for SMU. Hopefully some of our DB's can
learn something from one of the best that ever played and word
gets around to Dallas kids that Deion Sanders, TO, and Crabtree
are hanging at SMU.

Thanks IPP. I posted this because of the positives, that video is on the NFL website, people from all over just saw what a beautiful stadium Ford is, and people just saw one of the best cornerbacks in history, mention SMU, June Jones, and even that we have some nice corners too! Come on people!

Yay for the SMU pub, but that doesn't change the fact that he sounds ignorant.

Now if they can get Pat Fischer or Darrell Green to do a camp, then they'll have the best cornerbacks that ever played the game.

That was nearly 5 minutes of footage of our stadium, JJ got thanked during the intro, and our players shown working alongside NFL players. Anyone who thinks that this is anything other than a good thing has let 20 years of losing go to their heads.

This was a great boon for the school. Kids who are watching will be enthused by SMU and even if DS is not exactly eloquent he is still a known guy who a lot of kids revere.

Agreed if something helps SMU get exposure via some of the biggest names in football, who really cares if some paragraph Deion writes has a spelling error? Is there anyone on this message board that has never made a grammatical or spelling error? SMU may be in the process of becoming "cool" for young kids again. I don't see how that can hurt.

The video is good publicity for the school. Glad see Deion working with those guys. Deon, being a minister now, is really trying to help on and off the field. He has helped Terrell Owens and I hope he can help Pacman on and off the field as well. Great that JJ has been putting SMU out there as much as he can.

I have no formal education, but I was thinking the same thing.
Deion said that everyone one wants to be in the light, but the light shows everything.

True!
