I think we lose to Houston, but Navy, Memphis, and UTEP are wins. Rice in the opener may also be a loss, if only because we seem to have so much trouble there and the offense probably won't be in sync.

"it is possible to see in our mind's eye a vision of what might be 5 years from now for SMU football: June Jones has SMU winning 9 or more games a year, SMU is one of the best two programs in C-USA every year, SMU's Gerald J. Ford Stadium is filled every Saturday and their are plans to increase seating and the number of luxury boxes, the Dallas Cowboys are not the only football team being talked about in Big D, donations are pouring into both the athletic program and to academics at SMU, and (GASP do we dare write it?).....there are suddenly rumors that the Big 12 is considering adding two more teams to their conference and one of the schools being talked about is SMU"

wow that sounds pretty cool!

Jones beats the odds again

I have been a grump in the past, especially the last two coaches - but this year I am "all in." Don't ask me when and where, but I foresee Jones having a winning season (at least 7-5) and going to a very minor bowl game in 2008. No wonder Vegas makes a fortune off of guys like me in June long before the seaosn begins. I'm ready for some football. Hike!

I agree with the Tech prediction but not on TCU game. I just don't think they are going to be great team. Lets see how they do at OU then we will talk.

If JJ gets SMU to a Bowl in year 1, they will build another statue in Doak Walker Plaza!

Fear the mob boss!

I already have decent money on us going to a bowl.

Plagiarism, a nasty thing.

From two weeks ago, in cusa-fans.com SMU preview:
Can the Mustangs turn it around - this year? If they do, look for Jones’ statue outside Ford Stadium … right next to Doak Walkers’.
