...and co. were at a wee party at my apartment complex last night. I talked to them all about (what else) JJ, J-will, summer camp, the upcoming season, etc., and here are the highlights.

1) 90% of the offense thinks J-Will will start
2) Every single player expects, not hopes, but EXPECTS a winning record next year.
3) a reiteration of "football is fun again"
4) PB talked to his players like they were beneath him, Jones talks to his players like they're all valuable assets of a group that's important to him.
5) Dizer will start at DE as of now

And holy sh*t that kid is scary-looking. He looks like he came straight out of the Army Rangers .

Can't wait to see him play.

Dizer is supposed to start? Word out of spring ball was that Coach Mason and Coach Hill were enamored with Youri Yenga at RDE and Anthony Sowe at LDE .... who is Dizer supposed to replace in the starting lineup?

If Sowe and Yenga are as good as the coaches think, then Dizer must really be showing a lot, in terms of the health of his back. He's got the frame to be unbelievable, as we all know, and it would be great to see him out there delivering the goods.

I see Justin Smart becoming one of the real leaders of this team as just a sophomore. You're right - scary-looking dude, but in a good way.

Between Justin Rogers and Justin Smart, it's become a badge of honor to wear No. 40 around here.
