Weren't there a few other players suspended or at least in trouble? Have they been allowed back?

You're right.
Justin Willis and Phillip Burley are back, as are Terance Wilkerson and Julian Herron, I think.

Rhodes was suspended too; I think he is planning to transfer so he must not be back.

Dammit that sucks about Mapps. He showed flashes when he got the ball in his hands. Oh well. Clearly JJ is setting a standard here that all must adhere to. So is Mapps even on campus? Did he transfer?

I think Mapps is gone  like no longer on campus.
Good luck wherevery you end up, James.

Any chance that Phillip gets some playing time this year? How is the rehab on his knee that got tore up in one of Bennetts infamous "Pony Bowls"?

Another backhanded smack at Coach Bennett? Pete Carroll has his guys play those games, too.
Burley is healthy, and expected to compete for playing time this year. How fast he is, I don't know, but supposedly he's running and catching and cutting.

Yeah, except PC's depth chart can accommodate injuries pretty well.

I have nothing against USC but anyone who thinks they aren't running a renegade program out there in L.A. is naive. Bush, Mayo, the rediculous level of recruiting the past 3-4 years. Where there's smoke there's fire.

What an intelligent response. Lack of institutional control much?
