I just called Barnes@Noble and asked about the replica jerseys
and they said they would not be exact replicas because they
did not know what the team jerseys would look like
when they ordered them, but that they would be
blue and look similar.

BH: Did the B&N folks say when those jerseys will be delivered and hit the racks to be sold?

I was in there over the weekend, and I love the "I'M JONES'N FOR SOME SMU FOOTBALL" shirt.

They did not say when when they would be in, but here
is their number if you want to keep them on top of it.

I've never seen such a Cloak & Dagger approach to a new uniform as what we are seeing here at SMU. Does any other program's fanbase in college football STILL not know what their uniforms will be next season? Only at SMU.
Back off Warchild seriously.

Just like most of our students, it isn't what you do in the classroom that counts. Its that you do it in style!

If this works as well as the coaching search it could be our new trademark. Fashionably late?

couch em,
I like it! Thankfully I still have a few sources close to the team and I have a pretty good handle on what the new uniforms are gonna look like. As others have speculated, going back to the white helmet with red mustang, a navy blue, a red, and a white jersey and white pants. Sounds like a bit of the old (Pony Express) with a touch of the recent unis.

I don't think my heart can take it if all our games feature fashionably late comebacks. I want some ahead from the start thumpings!

Bugging the people at the bookstore isn't going to get the jerseys in any faster. The order's been placed, and now it's up to Adidas to get it sent. The coaches sideline apparel will be in mid-July, and that's probably when the jerseys will arrive, too.

This is going to be a REALLY stupid question. Just warning you.
There seem to me to be various levels of "Jersey" being talked about. I assume that the one the bookstore will carry will be the official replica, by Adidas that is identical to the one's worn by the players, correct?
There are then others that look like football jerseys, and say SMU but are not actually replicas of anything, right?
