Great uniforms. I wish I was more than an infant when this happened.

Love the way Leach used the referee as a 'blocker' against the Pitt defender!
Also, Eric Dickerson puts a nice block on a Pitt defender for Lance's 9-yd. TD run.
Great memories! I was watching on TV in Houston but I remember it was a cold, wet day there, too!

For some reason, L. Donald Shields reminds me of "Bosley" from Charlie's Angels.

Donald Sheilds was "Bosley" with no authority. He couldn't run the school much less three PI's/supermodels.

The good ol days when they televised the halftime shows. It is amazing how many organization have distroyed college football and the college football experience. I would much rather watch marching bands, pom pom girls (in short skirts) and dance teams than listen to Craig and his buddies.

The Cotton Bowl still televises the halftime show.
