2008 SMU FOOTBALL KICKOFF LUNCHEON

Picked up the OFFICIAL announcement mailer today at SMU. It will be mailed out in the next few days. Here are the details:

Wednesday, August 20, 2008
Noon
Khmer Pavilion
Hilton Anatole Hotel
2201 Stemmons Freeway
Dallas, TX

Tickets $75 each; table of 10 at $750 each. Table purchase includes 8 seats for you and your guests plus 1 coach and 1 player or 2 players.

It will be a little different format this year, they won't bring in an outside speaker. With all of the interest in massiah June Jones, coming to deliver SMU from the evil of football hades, he will bring the sermon. I hear they will do some sort of interview session with Rich Phillips, to go along with JJ speaking to the congregation from the pulpit. Can I get a Amen!

OTP: You should probably pay your $75 admission fee NOW to ensure yourself a seat at the luncheon. You'll be assigned a seat at someone's table.
