I'm just going off Dave Campbell's preview of SMU and two-deep chart for strong safety is Rock Dennis and De'Von Bailey.
I realize that these are two unproven players out there because of injury but their talent has been hyped for some time. To me, it looks like we have something very interesting there with two players. Run game support may not be in better hands.

I still would like to see Bailey play OLB, because he runs a little too vertically for my taste at safety. Dennis, we all hope, turns out to be the stud we all hope he can be, but you're right  they're both unproven. Both safety positions remain a concern until proven otherwise.

Is Chris Banjo projected as a CB or safety? I ran into him at Goff's the day of the Red-Blue game. He seems like a pretty big kid. And his highlight reel showed he likes to hit.
Forgive my ignorance at this time: I have just gone form Euro 2008 to Tour de France mode. I will be ready for football in three weeks.

If you watch is highlites he definitely has Strong Safety headhunting insticts. I'm not sure he has the quickness to play CB.
