Mustang Club Rice Buffet

Postby couch 'em » Mon Jul 07, 2008 2:30 pm

Good Afternoon,

Happy July! Plans are underway for a great football season! So many of you have called and inquired about trips the Mustang Club may be offering that we thought it would be a good idea to see where your interests lie.

The Mustangs travel to Houston for the first game of the season. We’ll play Rice at 7:00 pm on FRIDAY, August 29. We’re planning a big tailgate event for those that live in the area or that travel to the area for the game.

We have two questions:

Would you be interested in a bus trip from Dallas to Houston for the Rice game? This would depart approx. 11:00 am on Friday and arrive back in Dallas at approx. 3:00 am

Please let us know of your interest in a down and back trip.

We have also investigated staying overnight. I can’t give a firm price today, but ballpark for an overnight in Houston in a moderately priced hotel in the area is about $130.00 per room.

Would you be interested in an overnight bus trip from Dallas to Houston returning mid day Saturday?

We are really just trying to gauge interest, so please respond if you are interested and let us know which option is more to your liking.
We’ll see what we can do.

Thanks for your consideration and comments.

Debbie

I'd prefer a buffet with more than just rice.

Apparently you've never seen Cows grazing...

What if I cover the owl in my own special HATE sauce?

Eating cows is okay. It pretty much makes you a vegan once removed.

If you've ever had a kindergartener bring home a baggie full of dissected dried owl pellets, you'd definitely be out. Disgusting!
