Looks like some seating changes this year - bigger student seating section (wraps into endzone) - Family section has been moved by the tunnel - and a special mustang club section at the 50. I kept my same seats from last year - I think they are in 106.

I kept my same seats though I don't really know where they are. Somewhere on the west side near the 35-40 yard line. Of course I had a fight with the ticket office wanting to charge me additional Mustang Club dues after I had paid. And the Mustang Club didn't exactly keep their records straight or share little secrets like who paid with the ticket office. Several calls and hand ringing finally got it resolved...I hope. And yes, I was not impressed with the new season ticket renewal process.

I had no problem with it. Wonder what happened because I thought they were good to me.

The season ticket renewal was quite easy for me as well. I even moved over a section with no problems, from 106 to 105 (hoping that at some point in the near future that would be a problem due to higher demand).
As far as the student section goes, the only thing that part of the endzone has been good for is when Tech rolls into town or when they have a Boy Scout day. So I am hoping to see that area get filled up by students over the next couple seasons as well.

I'm in 106 and didn't realize that the visitor section has the same vantage point, just on the opposite side and opposite end. I think SMU has probably the best visitor section location in the NCAA (nevermind the fact they look right into the western sun). Guess it helps that our stadium doesn't really have a bad seat. I've been to way too many away games where it would have been better to stay home (nevermind the probable loss I witnessed).

And you'll leave with your tail between your legs.

I haven't been to a lot of other college stadiums, but I wouldn't be surprised if A&M's visitor section is one of the worst. It's tiny, and I think it might even be past the endzone.

I think you're right- the student section used to be half in the bottom tier, half in the top tier, and now they've all been moved to the bottom tier. Great idea IMO

Smart move for the students section...hard to get drunk college kids to walk up stairs.
Now we just need to install some sort of diversion to keep them in their seats through halftime...

Get the students as close to the action as possible and I say keep them right behind the visitors bench so they can heckle the other team!

I remember Harrell being an absolute [deleted] to the student section after they went up 30
