How many are going to be making the trek to lubbock this year? Tickets go on sale Monday unless you are buying from one of their season ticket holders.

Can't make it this year

I'm going and to be honest I don't know why I put myself through having to go all the way to that hellhole and sit with those idiot fans of theirs for 3 or 4 hours just to watch us get our asses handed to us. But, like every year we've gone out there the past few years, I'll be there.

I went a couple years ago and there was some @holekid that came over to the visitor section talking smack. One of the older gentleman kindly asked him to leave and he did not, so he almost go his butt whipped. I was just waiting for the kid to start crying. Dip went flying and after he got up from falling down the stairs he left.

If we crush Rice and Texas St. I'll go to Lubbottock. And I still will hate myself for it.

I went a few years ago, but with a baby due in September I won't be making the trip this time. No big loss...the fans out there are the worst I've ever seen.

From the F-U-SMU chant during Varsity, to the idiot punk that took a swing at one of our fans when he had his back turned, to the masses that heckled us like we expected to go out there and blow away Tech....there's nothing at all that makes me ever want to set foot in Lubbock again.

What a waste of perfectly fine West Texas land that town and university are.

Decided to spend the money for other away game destinations where
Smu has a better chance to win and the fans are not neanderthals.
The Texas Tech fans were really bad the last two trips to Lubbock.
