I met Tim Leonard, Assistant Athletic Director for Development, this weekend at a send off event...great guy, follower of Ponyfans and really excited about the upcoming season and future with June Jones and Steve-O at the helm....also pointed out that "Orsini has a chance to become a legend" if he can turn everything around and bring us back to glory...not possible at ND i might add.

i believe you champions circle members might be familiar with Mr. Leonard

Tim will fit in fine at SMU. All the boys liked him at UCF.

I would like to point out that Steve O is already a legend.
I remember the day he fired the coach at UCF after we lost to Central Michigan 2003 my son played in that barn burner…

There was no vision of a million dollar coach, a new football stadium on campus, the best basketball arena in conferences USA.

With his vision it happened. The only difference at SMU is he doesn’t have to build the stadium he just needed the coach.

One trick if he could arrange a little C4 for Moody and a rebuild it would help.

i think a well placed can of gas and a match would do the trick

The first step was the coach.
The second step is to win.
The third step is fill the stands and get the cash.
The new BB home will come.

Did you know that Steve orchestrated a brand new stadium and basketball arena built at the same time? We don’t think it’s ever been done before.

Were going to have a turn around in football before you can get another 20 mill from the big boys. But win we shall soon. Hey I said we i'm in. :D

Most of Moody on the inside in concrete and brick. My point is, fire would take waaaaaaaay longer -- not fire wouldn't work.

We don't need a new arena. Just renovate Moody and all will be well.

I hope we don't tear down Moody - it's a great design being being steep and cramped. I hate those wide, flat, spaced out arenas like in Tulsa.

I agree - keep Moody for the history - just upgrade the seating. I would prefer the old intimate historic venue (like Duke) than huge megacenter (like Syracuse) for SMU. Dallas already has Reunion and AAC, we don't need another new arena.
