June Jones ready for another turnaround

June Jones says he's uncomfortable making predictions.
He didn't do it when he took over a crumbling Hawaii football program and almost immediately turned it into a winner. And he said he won't do it now that he's leading an SMU program that never recovered from the death penalty delivered by the NCAA in 1987.
So what are we to think when Jones matter-of-factly states, "I'll get it turned around, it's just a matter of when, and when I do, everybody will be happy."
Isn't that a prediction? Maybe it is, but maybe it's more promise than prediction.
To fully understand what effect Jones might have on the SMU program, you have to look at what he did in nine seasons at Hawaii.
