He's OK, but they make it sound like he's the next Davey O'Brien Award winner. He's good, but Dillard catches everything in sight. I'd love to see what numbers Dillard would put up with a great quarterback.

I think if you go back and check the old southwest conference records over a period of time that Rice is the only team that had a consistant winning record against SMU.

Over what period of time? Rice, along with the rest of the SWC, destroyed us every year from 1988-1994. Prior to that, from 1977-1986 we beat them every year. We lost a few to them along the way, but I think it's a major stretch to say they had a "consistent" winning record against us.
After 1988, unfortunately, just about everyone did.
