To all the ponyfans in the greater Houston/Galveston area, as well as in the Golden Triangle of Texas and southwestern Louisiana: Stay safe and smart as Tropical Storm Edouard works it way onto the mainland.

Watching The Weather Channel right now...looks like D-FW will only catch the northeast edge of the storm after it makes landfall. The Hill Country will get most of the rain.

these things are no fun. One of my employees in Harlingen is out of home for the near future because of Dolly.

This will be a non-event. It's not even a hurricane. Dolly was a Cat 2.

What hype from the media. NBC Nightly News called it "Extreme Weather" in Texas last night because a tropical storm was coming ashore at the same time it was above 100 degrees in August. :roll:
