Well the final result was pretty much what I expected, but the first quarter had me nervous. When the SMU offense chewed up half the first quarter and got the field goal, I was a little antsy. Kincaid is a hoss.

I was pretty impressed with Bartel. He made some very impressive throws. Not sure what that underhand flip thing was, but he's got some talent.

Everybody had such high regard for Kingsbury (and rightly so), but I honestly think this year's offense is going to be significantly better than last year's. And last year's edition was nearly unstoppable at times. Just ask the aggies and the horns. OU has our number for some reason, but maybe we can make 'em sweat this year.

Anyway, I'm a fan of Bennett and I really think he can get you guys moving in the right direction. I fully expect a very tight game with Baylor and an SMU win would not surprise me at all.

thanks, tech fan. despite the outcome, i had a great time at the game. very fun atmosphere and i'm glad we played y'all. next time you'll be in for more of a fight.

Coach Phil impresses me also.......i think you guys have a great one there.......when i first heard that he had gone to SMU i said 'uh-oh'............good luck the rest of the way........
