I know that there is no stopping people producing these kinds of awards, but I do wish that www.smumustangs.com would refrain from posting them. I like recognizing the kids as much as the next guy, but this is ridiculous, and embarrassing. I would not want to be listed for an award before I had ever set foot on the field.

I think if you vote for this you should be banished from ponyfans forever.

Have all of us lost our sense of humor. They do not have to step on the field. The award is based on their name. I assume most of them had one since birth. I have had mine that long. It is all in fun and I find it funny. I just do not think we have anyone that will qualify as a top contender. We need a George Washington, or a X.Y.Z. Jones, or Mumbly "the knife" Pegg.

Lighten up guys.

Along this line, I give out an award annually for the best email name in our company each year. Our email addresses start with our first initial, last name and by putting the first initial in front of the last name, in some cases, a humerous combination may be formed. Mrydel would not ever win my award, but Loverturf (first name initial L and last name Overturf)always finishes in the top 3 and several others are amusing.

Mrydel, the SMU student email addys used to work the same way when I was there. I knew two of the best combos ever: their names were S. Lavery and T. Hong.

People thought it was some sort of racist joke when the first guy would write his email down.

Surely, the folks at smumustangs.com have better things to do with thier time than mess with this kind of garbage. Then again, maybe they don't.

It is a national news story. It is their job to print the news. Turn on your air conditioner.
