The University of Arkansas has it's first 2-a-day work out today, followed by a full scrimmage tomorrow morning (Sunday) at 9:00am. A local sports magazine guru here in Arkansas said that he was afraid the Bible belt folks would be upset with a Sunday morning practice keeping the kids from attending church. The guru stated, however, and I believe correctly, that Petrino was not trying to keep the kids out of church on Sunday, but rather out of jail on Saturday night.

Not a problem. 7 AM Sunday practice and you can still make 10 or 11 AM service.

Petrino has the opposite practice method than does Jones. Jones trains and instructs with minimal contact and Petrino trains and instructs with maximum contact.

Saw that, but 7 AM is better. It keeps them in for much of Saturday night, it is cooler and I like the idea of early more practices (think swimming, LOL. And they get to Sunday services. Perfect!
