Does the new QB situation create opportunities?

Postby ponyte » Mon Aug 18, 2008 5:24 pm

Is JW now able to move to a receiver position where his big play ability may be better cultivated? JJ's offense thrives on plays made after the catch.

Of course this assumes JW learns how to carry the ball without fumbling.

That's ridiculous.

Willis is a quarterback. Coach Jones has said two will get the most reps, and that he'll "get three ready."

Willis is a quarterback.

Well Vincent Chase is a Tight End.. don't see him playing that position either? If Willis is truly the 3rd QB at best.. why not find a way to get him on the field if he excels at making plays with the ball.

Granted.. someone needs to show him how to run with the ball.. but the kid was always elusive on the field

I'm not sure how effective Willis would be elsewhere on the field. If Jones has him at third string QB, then the other two must be pretty damn good. Let's focus on the positive, that for once we have had good quality competition at QB.

if he cant hold on to the ball as a QB, why would you think he would have the hands to play WR?
