5A Texas Football is talking about Bo

Postby Garret » Mon Aug 18, 2008 8:06 pm

And it appears that some people (I assume they are from Katy) had an indication that Bo would be the starter and Braden the backup...as that info was posted *yesterday*. There are some reports on Bo for people who watched his high school games in those threads.

I think Willis represented SMU's best chance. There will be fallout from this. I am concerned about both sides of the ball.

"Drew Brees at Westlake" was the first thing that popped in my mind when I first saw the Bo Levi Mitchell video.

Some notes on Brees (from Purdue Football Website):

"Texas 5A Most Valuable Offensive Player in 1996 ... led team to 16-0 record and state championship, beating Abilene Cooper 55-15 in the title contest ... completed 211 of 333 passes (63.4 percent) for 3,528 yards with 31 touchdowns as senior ... team led state with average of 465 total yards per game ... squad was 28-0-1 with Brees as two-year starter ... career totals were 314 of 490 (.641) for 5,461 yards with 50 touchdowns "
