Posted: Thu Sep 04, 2003 7:53 pmHaving him as an alum doesn't appear to have helped our situation in the past. Of course, maybe SMU needs to help itself before anyone else can help it. I hope we are doing that, I believe we are doing that, but scores like Saturday are still disappointing.

Posted: Thu Sep 04, 2003 9:47 pmBack in the "Good Old Dayz" Goodrich, who was a sports producer for ABC, let is be known he was a loyal SMU alum and fan. The guys in the booth alays talked about it when SMU was playing on tv (which was a lot back then) I recal Booy Goodrich played tight end for SMU.

Posted: Fri Sep 05, 2003 1:45 pmHis father, Dr. Robert Goodrich, was the minister of First United Methodist Church in Dallas (corner of Ross & Harwood) where I attended church for many years. Dr. Goodrich went on to become the minister at St. Luke's United Methodist Church in Houston and then became a bishop in the Methodist church.
