Settling in: A day after being named the No. 1 quarterback, Bo Levi Mitchell is getting a vast majority of the snaps so far, with Braden Smith getting the rest ... until Logan Turner just took his first snaps with the team in 11-on-11 drills.

These 'From the Pressbox' reports are AWESOME! Keep it up, PP! Now...the question on some folks minds is: where's Justin Willis?

How does BLM look? Better than yesterday?
Thanks PonyPride, as always.

Can't teach speed: For the umpteenth time in this camp, Julian Herron just came off the edge in a LB blitz, and again, he got to the quarterback before Turner even finished his drop ... and this isn't a system in which QBs are asked to do a lot of deep (seven-step) drops.

The Willislessness of today's practice is palpable.

He looks OK. A little nervous, maybe - he dropped a couple of snaps. Just threw a really nice pass into the end zone from about 60 yards. It was dropped, but a hell of a throw.

Concentration: BLM just fired a 40-yard strike to Zach Zimmerman, who made a really nice catch despite having Tyler Jones draped all over him - every ref alive would have called pass interference.
One play later, Aldrick Robinson caught a crossing route. Rock Dennis knocked it loose, and Justin Smart snaged it out of the air. Smart gets the pick, but great play by Dennis.

Is Willis even out there?

Last time I checked the other site (I think) they said BLM was getting majority of the snaps, but all QBs had taken some. And that BLM looked awesome.

Mitchell has the arm: BLM is putting the gun on display. Just hit another 55-yarder to Emmanuel Sanders at the 3, just beyond the outstretched hands of Bryan McCann. Great catch by Sanders.
Then he mis-fired, hitting Derrius Bell between the numbers ... and Bell dropped it.

Yes, Mitchell is getting the majority of the snaps. I'd say 60-70 percent. I wouldn't say he looks awesome. Inconsistent might be a better word. He clearly has a big arm and will make any throw, but he has missed some receivers and dropped a couple of snaps - to early to say "awesome."

Man, BLM sounds like the real deal.

Full rotation: Justin Willis just threw his first pass in the 11-on-11 drills ... a 12-yard completion to Shaun Moore on a crossing route.

Oops: BLM just threw a 10-yard strike ... right to Ryan Moczygemba. Nearest receiver was 5-7 yards away.
