Not Bye, Willis but learn Willis learn.

J-Will is a good athlete and can contribute to this team in other ways.

With his speed and running ability he could play receiver or slot, run back kicks - Heck who knows all he can do.

The question is will he ask to participate, will he ask where he thinks JJ can play him to have an impact?

Best to J-Will

He won't be asked to play anywhere but third string emergency QB. I'll bet he sees some action in that role too.

The question posed by BUS is whether JW will ask to participate in a role other than QB. Perhaps as a receiver or return man. Anything to get on the field.

Oops, I read the question wrong. I don't know if he'll ask, but I don't think he'll be asked.

Yea, i highly doubt that he'll ask to move into a new role with the team. He'll transfer before doing that.

He could always go this route, but not advisable

Way to slow for a reviever role. Why would we put a WR on the field that runs a 4.9 unless its Bobby Chase?

QB is the only thing JW could play on this team. so moving to a new spot is out of the question

JW was interviewed today and showed good maturity. He said that he supports Coach Jones and the other QB's. Sounded like he is taking the high road. Also said that he is only 25 hours away from graduating and seems to plan on staying. Good interview.

So he has matured a bit. Not fully, but some. He's still a kid. His support of what is going on is great. Who would expect him to like it, he just supports it. And he will still most likely see time at QB at some point this season.

With him getting minimal reps at QB in practice, he couls learn another position and help the team.

Does he not hve good hands?

With 25 hours left to graduate he needs to stay and ask if there is a way to help.
:-)

JSquared, and JWill have had some differences in the past.

J Squared (the 2 mil/yr man) is going to make JWill jump thru
as many hoops as possible before JWill earns the #1 position.

I just hope JWill understands that.

I also hope JSquared isn't like Cavan. Switching QB's during a game
based on the last drive.

I also hope SMU has based JSquared's contract on some
accomplishments before he is due the full 5 year 10 mil deal.

Ditto. 500 or so threads to go.

JJ has stated repeatedly that he is a 1 QB guy, and only if it is clear that it is not working will he change the guy, and certainly not mid-game (not counting injuries of course).
