I see a true freshmen is going t be JJ's starting QB. It all seems like a repeat JJ did while at Hawaii. Does the name Timmy Chang ring a bell? Here's what your in for..
JJ will stick by this decision, win or lose. His main objective will be for Bo to break ever NCAA passing record possible (win or loss). The rest of the team will suffer for this. Although TC broke many NCAA passing records (to include the INT record), there were many better QB's backing him up. If Bo doesn't cut it as QB, JJ is so stubborn, he won't make any change unless an injury happens. Also, don't count on any great QB recruits for SMU for the next 5 years. It's Bo's job, JJ won't bring in anyone better during his tenure.
Just a little info for you guys to be on a lookout for.

Good thing he left when he did. A repeat trip to the BCS could have happened for the Warriors. No worries now.

I've heard of Timmy Chaing-he's the June Jones Coached Hawaii QB with a weak arm and poor accuracy who set an NCAA All-Time Record in Career Interceptions.

He left out one really big QB that played for Hawaii by the
name of colt.
JJ always says that the QB are three plays away from playing.
Which means that the starter can get hurt and you better be
ready to go in.
So him being set on just one QB is really funny to hear.
Good luck next week guys.....JJ knows what he is doing.

its not like he had much choice sticking with hsi pick at hawaii...i mean its not like he had talent there to draw from....Texas is very different

SMU's first president, Robert S. Hyer, selected Harvard Crimson and Yale Blue as SMU's colors to symbolize SMU's high academic standards. We are one of the few Universities to have school colors with real meaning...and we just blow them off.
