Tulsa to the BCS

On sportscenter this morning, the question was asked who has the best shot of being this year's Hawaii, and Lou Holtz said Tulsa has the best shot. Not sure I'm buying it, but who knows. I'd love for us to end Tulsa's BCS hopes when we play them.

I'd love to see a CUSA make it - the WAC has sent 2 teams and MWC 1. It would be a very positive sign for CUSA

Lou Holtz said the same thing. Went on and on about Graham, Malzahn, etc. A regular Tulsa lovefest.

Tulsa was a doormat in the WAC and early in CUSA. IF they can do it, we sure can. I wish them luck and if they are the better team this year against SMU then I hope beyond hope they make it to a BSC game.

So...Lou Holtz and Lee Corso, two of the worst, most senile commentators on college football said Tulsa...hmmm.

I'm not buying it - it's either BYU, TCU, or UCF.

Its not about who has the best non-BCS team-Hawaii didn't have the best non-BCS team last year but they played in a very easy conference the WAC-beat Boise St and Fresno and you got a chance to go undefeated-THE ONLY WAY TO MAKE THE BCS BOWL. I'm not saying Tulsa will go undefeated because their defense has holes all over the field but basically this commentator is saying CUSA is not very strong and Tulsa could breeze through it. Playing in the MWC is much more difficult that CUSA-about 8-10 points per team according to Sagarin and other ratings.

Wasn't it Lou Holtz? Or did they BOTH say Tulsa?

I actually mean Holtz. I wasn't fully awake when I posted the thread.
