What's really cool is that you see alums throughout the country trying to put watching parties together for the first game. Not since the return from the death penalty have we had people this enthused about the season.

Time and wins will tell if the June Jones era proved beneficial but he at least regenerated interest because so many were on the sidelines for quite some time.

This is what I'm talking about what your football program can do for your university. It can be the single most important galvanizing agent. Everybody comes together. That means everything.

Great job by those on the West Coast, Chicago, NYC and Nashville for doing this. I think all of us can feel like we'll be watching the game together, even if we're not.
