Absolutely a joke. Getting completely drilled by a good not great ACC team.

No innovation, no athleticism, no enthusiasm. Just get it over with football.

While JJ will surely help SMU improve, people in glass houses - shouldn't throw stones.................especially given that we are riding a 10 game losing streak into tomorrow nights game although hopefully that will be over at the end of the game.

Briles blew it

Postby Sam I Am » Thu Aug 28, 2008 10:05 pm

The Briles debut bodes bad for Baylor. Let's get a piece of the Bears.

What's surprising about Baylor getting beat by the No. 23 team in the country which is about to win their 20th games in about 27 games?

Well I've said that from Day 1. They fired a guy that is a better Coach than Briles. But Wake is a quality football team.

Bad thing with Briles at Baylor and not at Houston is that Houston now have a good head coach and a good OC.

Wake 41 Baylor 13

Postby Sam I Am » Thu Aug 28, 2008 10:38 pm

The Bears took one in the shorts, 41-13. Waco is a wreck.

Regardless of our record of recent failure, it is never, I repeat never, inappropriate to make fun of Baylor.
